Join thousands of children and their families in taking over their city streets to claim their right to ride safely.

We invite you to our local event on Sunday, 14 September 2025 at 10 am, beginning and ending at Light Square/Wauwi, Adelaide.聽聽

Now in its fourth year, Kidical Mass Adelaide is more than just a fun family ride. It鈥檚 a colourful, energetic call to action 鈥 showing what our cities could look like if kids were free to ride safely, independently, and joyfully.
馃毃 What we're asking for:
We're calling on local decision-makers to:聽
(1) Enable and activate bike riding joy
(2) Create comfortable, convenient and connected bike-riding routes and healthy streets聽
(3) Support children's wellbeing and health through bike riding (and walking/wheeling) to school.聽
Our top three priorities for action include:
馃毚鈥嶁檧锔 A safer speed on our streets is 30 km/h
馃毚 Prioritise active transport around schools聽
馃毚 Make it cheaper to choose electric bikes.
馃椇锔 Our Ride
We start and end our ride in Light Square/Wauwi, Adelaide.
The exact route will be confirmed closer to the date and will include a mix of on- and off-road options, with both short and long ride options to suit different abilities. (Please note: balance bikes and walkers aren鈥檛 suitable for this ride.)
With volunteer marshals and an SA Police escort, you can relax and enjoy the ride knowing your family is supported every step 鈥 or pedal 鈥 of the way.
