We’re gathering at Albo’s office in Marrickville while Justice not Jails leads protest outside NT Parliament in Darwin.
This sitting week marks one year of CLP in power. Their rule has meant racist attacks on Aboriginal families and communities, skyrocketing incarceration, and deaths in custody.
Justice not Jails is calling it clearly: as a community we must stand up together and say enough is enough.
Representatives from Kumanjayi White’s family will be in Darwin to keep demanding justice, and they’ve called for national support.
Our demands:
- Sanction racist CLP
- Feds to act now on Black incarceration & deaths in custody crisis
- Justice for Kumanjayi White: Police involved must stand
- Abolish OC spray
